New year, new you, new new new and all that jazz right? 2016 was such a huge year for me for so many different reasons, I was tempted to just relax a little and not work so hard. And while that’s not necessarily a bad idea (we all need to rest and breathe sometimes), I came to the realization that you have to keep momentum going while you have it. Because it’s hard to gain but easy to lose. I started this year off, sleeping in a little longer and just kind of existing. Until that still small voice reminded me that a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands and scarcity will creep up on you like a bandit. I instantly came to and got back on the grind and reestablished my focus. As I’m talking to you, I’m also talking to myself, don’t start the year off being idle. Idle is not the same as being still. It’s important for us to be still in order to find our center and make wise moves. What I’m saying is, don’t waste time by not proactively moving toward your goals. If you start procrastinating now, you’ll look up 6 months from now and still be in the same place. It’s time to get cracking and start heading where you want to go now!
